Social Auxiliary Workers assist registered Social Workers in delivering developmental social welfare services to individuals, families, groups and communities — providing basic counselling, group facilitation, and community development support under supervision.
Home Based Personal Care Assistants provide basic physical and emotional support to patients and their families or household members within a home-based care environment, working under the direct supervision of a professional supervisor.
Home Based Carers provide supervised care and support to patients and their immediate families/household members in the home and appropriate community-based settings, promoting and restoring a person's maximum level of comfort, function and health — including care towards a dignified death.
Community health workers act as a bridge between vulnerable populations and the providers of professional health, community and social services — carrying out basic health screening, health education, and referrals, and supporting people in navigating the health and social services system.
